BBO

  BBO crystal is an excellent electro-optic crystal for high power applications for the wavelenght range from 200nm to 2,500nm. It has electro-optic coefficients Y11=2.7pm/V and Y22 , Y31<0.1Y11. It can be used for Q-switching a cw diode pumped Nd:YAG laser with Z-cut, AR-coating and Au-electrodes for high power E-O applications. The BBO will be Z-cut and Au coating on the side.

KDP

   Potassium Dihydrogen Phosphate (KDP) and Potassium Dideuterium Phosphate (KD*P ) are among the most widely-used commercial NLO materials, characterized by good UV transmission, high damage threshold, and high birefringence, though their NLO coefficients are relatively low. They are usually used for doubling, tripling and quadrupling of a Nd:YAG laser at the room temperature. In addition, they are also excellent electro-optic crystals with high electro-optic coefficients, widely used as electro-optical modulators, such as Q-switches, Pockels Cells, etc.

KTP

  KTP is the most commonly used material for frequency doubling of Nd:YAG lasers and other Nd-doped lasers, particularly at the low or medium power density. To date, extra- and intra-cavity frequency doubled Nd:lasers using KTP have become a preferred source of pumping visible dye lasers and tunable Ti:Sapphire lasers as well as their amplifiers. Applied to diode-pumped Nd:laser, KTP has provided the basis for the construction of compact visible solid state laser systems.
