This tretment retards oxidtion of the metal film, maintaining peak performnce while providing an abrsion resstant surface for cleaning&handling purposes. Enhanced Aluminum: For applictions requiring greater levels of reflectance, aluminum is overcoated with a film of multi-layer dielecrics. Signifiantly greater reflectivity is achieved while retaining the excellent handling characterstics of protected aluminum.
